By Amy Tardif, RTDNA Chair
RTDNA’s strategic planning process is ramping up and we’d love your help! The Executive Committee and committee chairs plan to meet in July with a facilitator to create a working strategic planning document with action items that will go to the full board for approval. In preparation, we have created a survey to learn such information as your reasons for joining professional associations and what you want out of memberships.
Since RTDNA was first founded as the National Association of Radio News Editors in 1946, we’ve evolved to meet the changing needs of a shifting industry. Currently, we’re embarking on this strategic planning process to think about how we can continue to help news practitioners like you grow in the future.
Please take a few minutes before the end of April to answer our brief, 15-minute survey about the challenges facing the digital news industry, and how RTDNA can help.
So far we have responses from a fairly wide range of job titles. We’re hearing from a lot of folks who have been in the business a long time. We’d really love to hear from you if you’re new to the industry or define yourself as a millennial. Please help shape the future of RTDNA.
