NAB Surprises Cochran with Honor

NAB President David Rehr surprised RTNDA President Barbara Cochran on Tuesday with a special recognition for her years of service to the broadcasting industry.

Cochran is retiring in June as RTNDA president, a post she’s held for the last 12 years.

    Congratulations to Mark Kraham, who will serve as chair-elect, and to Janice Gin and Dan Shelley, who will serve two-year terms as directors at-large.

    Also, RTNDA members approved a change to the Association's bylaws which grant educator-members the same rights as professional journalist members, including the right to vote for the Board of Directors and on other bylaw changes.
